You can recongnize this term by &quot;agiten tug&quot; good day, &quot;agiten nacht&quot; a good night, &quot;agiten shabbos&quot; good shabbos.. And so on. To say goodbye you would subsitute the word with a blessing such as hatzlucha- which is also Hebrew for good luck.
